  • How should I care for my art?

  •
  • Are the Art-Kits sold at WellBeeTree.com safe? Are you registered with the CPAC?
  • The J. Allen Studios' Class-in-Pack ArtKits that we carry on our store are designed by our resident Artist on staff and then printed with only soy-based, non-toxic inks. We are registered as a Small Manufacturer of children's products with the CPAC.
  • We only re-sell genuine CrayolaTM crayons with our art kits, sourced from only the following reputable household name dealers: Micheal's, Staples, and Office Depot. We do not order our mailing supplies, construction paper, print paper, crayons, or other tools re-sold in our art-kits from third party, or other online sellers, ever! We purchase in person from the vendors listed here, and assemble/pack them ourselves at our shop.  This ensures materials are  are obtained from approved CPAC children's product vendors.
  • ASSEMBLY and PACKING:
  • Assembly and packing for shipments of the J. Allen Studios' Class-in-Pack ArtKit is currently carried out at our Leander, TX studio in clean, hygienic, and regularly sterilized work-room, (formerly used for in-person teaching pre-2020) that is never used to work with any other materials, paints or supplies that are not intended for use by children in a class room. Staff uses the same PPE you would find currently being used in most restaurants in 2021 while fulfilling art-kit orders.
  • All safety rules and adult supervision guidelines on product packaging apply. ArtKits are not for use without adult supervision, or children under the age of three. The artkit is a visual-and skill-based read-aloud teaching tool. The intended use is as a class given in the home, learning center, school, camp, pod, or similar setting by an adult or older sibling, nanny, or babysitter that results in a work of art for holding, reading aloud again, and sharing. It is not intended for us as a play-time toy without supervision.
  • A FEW WORDS ON ART-CLASS SAFETY:
  • Plentiful, clear, printed, full color directions and recommendations are included with each printed art kit. While we have also designed our art-kits for flexibility of use, please use common sense whenever teaching a child to use tools such as crayons, pencils, paper and scissors for the first time, and as skills develop. Keep work-surfaces clear of other items used for other purposes and do children's activities in areas that are well-lit. WellBeeTree, LLC is not responsible for use of the J.Allen Studios' Class-in-Pack ArtKits, that we carry on our store outside the recommended directions, or the range of typical care and supervision taken when using children's approved household and school supplies and tools.
  •
  • I've noticed some Art-Kits look different, is this normal?
  • J. Allen Studios ArtKits are assembled by hand, by our staff in the U.S. at either our Austin or Boston, Studio locations. Small variations in paper and other kit pieces are normal. Our Art Kits are unique, just like you. That’s one of the reasons they're so special.
  •
  • Are Art-Kits compostable or biodegradable at the end of their use?
  • We hope you will purchase one of our "My First Portfolio" (coming soon!) accessories to keep all your finished art kit works forever-safe in for the memories. With the correct care they can last a lifetime. All kit left over paper materials may be composted. Colored construction paper scraps should be recycled and not composted.  Mailing packaging is not biodegradable. If you need to recycle the Art-Kits, and do not place in the compost.
